Christopher T. Anderson is a sharp, versatile legal mind who can pick apart a dense legal argument like nobody’s business—and then turn around and explain special relativity or space-time to an 8-year-old. He founded
New Leaf Family with a dual purpose: to empower clients to make the best decisions for themselves and their families, and to make the financial side of Family Law more predictable and straightforward. By keeping most decisions in clients’ hands, he believes they achieve greater satisfaction and move forward in much better shape.
Christopher earned his A.B. from Cornell University and his J.D. from the University of Georgia. He began his career prosecuting serious sex crimes with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where the courtroom became his second home. Over the years, he has handled everything from high-conflict divorces and custody battles to serving as general counsel for tech companies and representing pilots in licensing matters.
A formidable trial lawyer, Christopher is also a sought-after speaker on legal technology and law practice management, frequently presenting at major conferences and mentoring law firms nationwide. He is admitted in Colorado, New York, and Georgia.
He is the long-standing host of The Unbillable Hour, a leading podcast focused on innovation in law firm practice. Outside work, he enjoys skiing, oenology, quantum mechanics, astrophysics, running, and making a mean cappuccino.
