Steve New is a native of Gilbert, West Virginia, and the founder of the New Law Office in Beckley. A retired Major with the West Virginia Army National Guard, Steve brings over 20 years of military discipline to his legal practice. Since opening his firm in 2004, he has become a powerhouse in the West Virginia legal community, serving as a past President of the West Virginia Association for Justice and a staunch defender of the Seventh Amendment.

Steve concentrates his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, and mass torts, including high-profile national opioid litigation. Beyond the courtroom, he is widely recognized for his firm’s philanthropy, having distributed over 12,000 bicycle helmets to children across the state.
